Illustrated Jackalope Gallery

I guess they were trying to tie in with the name of the city, but it's just not as catchy as 'jackalope.'

You'll have to look closely, but there is a mural of a jackalope painted over the door on the left.

Here he is in the corner with other Wyoming wildlife.

And bottom middle among other Kansas features.

This little guy isn't doing so well.

You can see him between the 'night' and 'life.'

And directly above the K.

Nice vintage illustration.

And again without color.

This website is now defunct, but she was kind enough to send this to me (old address though).

Can't see it on a scan, but this card is a holographic foil that changes colors as you move it.

The very encouraging jackalope from the Pixar short "Boundin'."

Not super convincing, but A for effort.

And again a giant jackalope.

And this nicely painted giant.

I won't scan this guy's postcards in because he sells them, but it's some great illustrations.

Same artist, another great illustration.

Another painted giant, but with no border or text.

A nice informational card with some heretofore unknown jackalope facts.

Here's a nice pencil sketch.

A rare true jackalope (pronghorn and jackrabbit). Never seen this owl before, but I like it.

Normally I don't go in for art prints pasted on to postcards, but this was actually being sold as a postcard in a store, so it counts.

A little mixed-breed family from some shortwave enthusiasts.

A nice set from an Etsy artist.

A rare look at a jackalope in action, and an even rarer account of its aggression.

Like an above one, but with the original text pasted over.

A nice true jackalope at Grand Teton National Park.

A black and white version of one above.

The jackalope featured with some legends of lesser importance.

A one-of-a-kind watercolor painted on a visitor center blank postcard.

Cool design from a Weber State student.

Another giant, but scalloped.

Wyoming Night Rider, what a beautiful card!

A beautiful illustration on an attractively die-cut card!

Although this card claims the jackalopes are in Montana, they are clearly in the Tetons.

Here we see a jackalope in Missouri, which is pretty rare that far east.

And another gorgeous giant from Texas.

It's a French postcard, but not that kind of French postcard!
