Jackalope Subspecies Gallery

I'm not including the different flying or giant jackalopes here since they have their own galleries. This guy is called the Siberian White Tailed Deer. Looks pretty overweight.

This one is called the spotted buffalope, although it's the same picture as another one called a Dakota jackalope.

This one is called a buck rabbit. Notice its very unique in that it has hooves.

Here we have the Nebraska Warrior Rabbit, presumably much more aggressive than a regular jackalope.

And again with different graphic design.

A longhorn jackrabbit from Texas. This guy probably gets pretty bad headaches.

Here he is again in Arizona.

And again in Utah.

And again in New Mexico.

This Texas horned rabbit is a cross between a rabbit and goat, whereas other jackalopes descend from rabbits and antelopes or a small extinct deer species.

This guy is a Mocky Rountain Rackjabbit, whatever that is.

And here is the Deerhare of South Dakota.

Although unnamed, these unicorn jacks with long tails are definitely a subspecies.

This one is only referred to as the antelabbit, and is the only postcard to give an explanation for the horns other than cross-breeding. It says they grow because of the excess of calcium and lime the creature ingests from drinking cactus water. It's also the only postcard to name a jackalope - George.

A fantastic look at different species!
